I embarked on my journey as a Social Worker with a simple yet powerful goal: to let people know that someone is always in their corner. Today, in 2023, that commitment remains as strong as ever.

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse individuals. From adults with visual and hearing impairments to those navigating the challenges of Child and Family Services, from children with developmental delays, including Autism, to providing crucial Counselling Services for adults and youth facing anxiety, stress, ADHD, depression, infertility, and loss challenges. My experience extends to supporting pregnant and postpartum populations.

After becoming a mother, myself and undergoing a traumatic health scare with my newborn son, I pursued specialized training and certification through Postpartum Support International. This unique qualification equips me to support those on the journey of starting a family or currently navigating pregnancy and postpartum life, a stage that truly lasts a lifetime once you’ve given birth. Moreover, as an immigrant and a member of a farming family, I deeply understand the distinct stressors stemming from life transitions and the agricultural world.

I firmly believe in the foundation of a therapeutic relationship between a client and counsellor. My approach is rooted in tailoring therapy to suit each client’s needs. While I draw from various therapeutic methods, my primary focus is on person-centered, solution-focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This means we recognize the influence of the past on our present self while emphasizing our current challenges and strengths. Together, we navigate the path to resilience.
